Recent projects: Chad Strentz – "Shake-Down"

Vocalist and songwriter Chad Strentz (b.1964) has been at the forefront of the European roots music scene since the 1980s.

For the last twenty years he has virtually lived on the road, touring relentlessly as a member of the renowned british blues band Paul Lamb & the King Snakes.

As a songwriter and vocalist he has won numerous international awards for his work with the King Snakes and this has led him to team up with Rimshot Productions to record his debut solo album featuring his own material.

Mike & ChadWorking with producers Mike Thorne and Petra Biedermann, pre-production on Chad’s album started in October 2011, selecting material and honing arrangements.

Recording of the album took place in February 2012 over three days at Rimshot Studio and featured some of the best blues and roots musicians from around Europe including Christian Rannenberg (Piano), Jimmy Reiter (Guitar), Kai Strauss (Guitar), Raphael Wressnig (Hammond C3), Pete Pritchard (bass) and Mike Thorne (drums).
